Secondary School Science Labs
Summer 2015 - completed for $630,000
Building on a great foundation, the new and improved science labs meet the needs of the current and future generations of young learners. The science department staff - with over 120 years of combined teaching experience - worked hard with the architects and building committee to plan this project.
Indeed, "if I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants" as Sir Isaac Newton said. The vast majority of the construction phase of this project took place during the summer of 2015 with completion just in time for the new school year. The current students are truly benefiting from this forward thinking campaign.
The project included:
new chemistry laboratory and teaching area
new physics lab attached to science wing
new and upgraded junior science teaching area
upgraded biology lab
expanded and improved storage and teacher prep areas
